Registration for the 37th gathering
SHARE:
The orchestra meetings are held in an intensive format with a duration of between one and two weeks, depending on the production, in the month of July. In addition, the entity also organizes an international musical interpretation course for chamber groups and soloists in Sabadell.
Great national and international soloists have been accompanied and numerous young musicians from the country have been given the opportunity to play great works as soloists, creating an ideal space in dedication and love for music without fissures. One of the main characteristics of the orchestra is that there is no fixed staff, but that it is regenerated at each meeting.
The Orquestra Simfònica Segle XXI is an international orchestral course aimed at gathering musicians of high level and all ages in order to work on orchestral repertoire with a rigorous pedagogic approach, focused on the understanding of the piece and the composer.
The orchestra was created in 1999 and has since offered to hundreds of musicians - students and professionals alike- from different countries the opportunity to work on great symphonic works under the baton of maestro Jordi Mora.
